U.S.-Ukraine Foundation

The U.S.-Ukraine Foundation (USUF) is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization established in 1991 to facilitate democratic development, encourage free market reform, and enhance human rights in Ukraine. The Foundation creates and sustains channels of communication between the United States and Ukraine for the purpose of Building Peace and Prosperity Through Shared Democratic Values. USUF is dedicated to strengthening the mutual objectives of both nations while advancing Ukraine as a cornerstone of regional stability and as a full partner in the community of nations.

Youth involvement in cross-cultural U.S.-Ukrainian communication is a strong interest of USUF. Today, we have an opportunity to bring more American and Ukrainian students together to gain greater knowledge and understanding of one other. USUF is a sponsor of the Work Travel Program, as designated by the U.S. Department of State.

This program gives us an opportunity to offer students like you a unique chance to get acquainted with a new culture, to experience a different work environment and to enjoy your summer vacation with American and international friends.
 
We hope that the experience you bring back home after the program will make you more open-minded and ready to understand and to share the democratic values of a modern society.
